The Main Room
The Main Room seats 20 to 50 for a seated dinner, or holds up to 75 for a cocktail and hors d'oeuvre reception. It sits apart from the dining room, so your group has the space to itself — same kitchen, same service, behind its own doors.
Jameson's Charhouse has been grilling steaks since 1990, and we run private events the way we run the restaurant: hand-cut steaks off the char grill, fresh fish, and a bar with more than two hundred whiskies.

Send us the date
Date, rough head count, and what the evening is for. That is enough for us to tell you if the room is free.

Plan it with a manager
One of our event managers takes it from there — menu, seating, timing, and anything you want brought in.

The room is set before your first guest arrives. You have nothing to carry and nothing to set up.

How many guests fit in the private room?
The Main Room seats 20 to 50 for a seated dinner, or holds up to 75 for a cocktail and hors d'oeuvre reception.
Do you host corporate events?
Yes — business meetings, client dinners, quarterly team dinners and company parties. Tell us the format when you enquire and an event manager will work out the timing and seating with you.
Is there parking?
Yes — a free on-site lot, plus free street parking on Skokie Blvd. No valet, no charge.
How far ahead should I book?
Call as soon as you have a date in mind. Weekends and the November–December holiday stretch book up first, so those are worth asking about early.
Can we bring a cake or decorations?
Yes. Bring a cake, centrepieces or place cards, and tell us when you enquire so the room is ready before your guests arrive.
Is there a set menu?
Private events run on a set menu built around your group — see the private events menu. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are on every menu; tell us about any allergies before the event.
Do you cater off site?
Yes. Pickup or delivered, with 48 hours' notice. Delivery has a $200 minimum plus a 15% service charge; pickup has no minimum. See the catering menu.
